Cute Photos Of Pets Watching The 2025 Puppy Bowl
Animal Planet's much-anticipated Puppy Bowl 2025 has come and gone, but fans can still enjoy the photos dog and cat parents alike shared of their fur babies watching the dozens of puppies play on the field. Doggy devotees watched with delight as Team Fluff went snout to snout against Team Ruff, and that included furry viewers too. After all, competitive game shows are always more fun to watch with friends, right?
As if fully aware of the events of the game, some pets seemed captivated by what they saw on the screen. Or perhaps they wanted to join the fun, feeling a pinch of envy about all the pawsome dog toys on the field. Other pets treated the barks and toy squeaking noises as a lullaby and chose to nap during the program, or were otherwise uninterested. Ruff crowd!
Canela
Canela, a 4-month-old Aussie, couldn't pull her eyes away from the game. Every fumble, bark, pancake block, and interception kept her engaged from start to finish. With only a pair of feline siblings in her home, Team Fluff and Team Ruff likely fueled her excitement as she awaits the day she gets to play with her own kind. This shot was captured as Canela seemed to be making a connection with Team Ruff's Bonnie. Could it be because Bonnie is an Australian cattle dog (mixed with a beagle)?
Tiny
Affectionately named Tiny, this chiweenie and what looks like a second dog enjoyed the game from the comfort of their owner's bed. The duo likely became bewitched by the play on the screen between a member of Team Ruff and a member of Team Fluff; in this shot, the Puppy Bowl puppies appear to be "talking" above a pair of toys. Perhaps Tiny and were taking mental notes for their own game involving their own favorite toys.
Raisin
A 2-year-old domestic short-haired cat, Raisin, didn't let the game stop her from perching in front of the television. She wasn't particularly interested in what was happening behind her — at least not for this shot. Ironically, though, in this perfectly timed photo, one of the Team Ruff dogs on the screen took an interest in a teammate's you know what, who appears to be taking an interest in Raisin. Needless to say, the feline didn't notice!
Little girl
This beagle tuned in to Puppy Bowl XXI from the comfort of her blanket atop a chair near the TV. "Little girl enjoying the Puppy Bowl," the X caption reads. Judging by the gentleness and focus in her eyes, she seems to be both relaxed and enchanted as she watches one of the plays between a member of Team Ruff and Team Fluff. Did she stay calm, lying on her chair once the barking and squeaking began? We can't be pawsitive, but we're leaning yes!
Penny
Team Ruff's Enrique returned the opening kick and was, therefore, one of the first dogs that viewers fell in love with. Moments later, he showed audiences his feisty side after two of his opponents, Smoosh and Rita (also his sister), prevented him from making a touchdown. He barked in protest at a couple nearby dogs, which is probably what got Penny's attention. Clearly, she needed to investigate and see up close which dog was making such a raucous.
