Inside The Lives Of Nick Jonas And Priyanka Chopra's 3 Spoiled Dogs
It's always nice seeing actors and singers loving on their pets as much as non-celebrities do. Of course, since they can afford more than the average pet owner, it's common to see pics on social media of their dogs in fancy outfits, lying on elaborate beds, or just hanging out in lavish places. Dog parents Nick and Priyanka Chopra Jonas are one of many celebrity couples who don't hesitate to let the world know how much they adore their canine kids Gino, Diana, and Panda. These pups may not be the highest-earning celebrity pets, but to their famous mom and dad, they're priceless.
PEOPLE delighted fans of the "Jealous" singer with its 2020 Sexiest Man Alive issue featuring him and his German shepherd, Gino. Nick gave readers a peek into his life as a dog dad alongside his actress and film producer wife. He shared details about how Gino the German shepherd; Panda, the black-and-white husky and Australian shepherd mix; and Diana, the Chihuahua whom he says he adopted from Priyanka, came to be part of his family and about their personality differences.
"We like to see our kids succeed out there in the world having all the experiences they should," he told PEOPLE. Aiming for this goal is precisely what he and Priyanka have been doing for the past several years, and they have the social media receipts to prove it; in true celebrity dog fashion, the Jonases created an Instagram account for each of their three pups.
As the first dog for the couple, Diana is attached to Priyanka's hip
When you're a parent of more than one dog, sometimes you realize you have a favorite. For Priyanka, all signs point to Diana as the favorite. She shares a special bond with her, compared to her other two pooches. Priyanka immediately fell in love with the puppy when they first met in 2017, so she adopted her. Since then, the chic Chihuahua has been enjoying life at her mom's (and now dad's) side. She even comes to film sets with Priyanka and travels with her almost everywhere, mostly because she has separation anxiety.
Nick told PEOPLE that Diana's "the queen of the castle" and the one that "runs the show." An Instagram post confirms this, as it shows her resting on a luxurious pink velvet dog bed with a wood frame and matching plush cushion. You can also find shots of her dressed up and posing with Priyanka for fashion shoots and snuggling in a donut bed near an infinity pool.
For her 5th birthday, the couple spoiled her with an epic dog-themed birthday cake made out of milk bones and other dog treats. The most recent Instagram post of the now 8-year-old Chihuahua dates back to December of 2024, a video in which she attempts to play with her younger brother, Gino, who is clearly uninterested.
Gino and Panda joined the family after the couple married
Gino became a member of the Jonas family as a puppy in 2019 when Priyanka gave him to her husband as a wedding anniversary gift. When asked what he wanted to name him, Nick said "Gino the German [shepherd]." Although Gino has his own Instagram account, you'll find the most recent posts of him on Panda's and Diana's accounts. In addition to the video of him and Diana, you'll find another 2024 video of him running around with Panda, among other posts of him playing with both siblings.
In 2020, Nick and Priyanka brought home a third puppy, Panda, whom Priyanka said was a "pandemic adoption" from a rescue shelter in Los Angeles. His striking heterochromia makes him the most unique-looking of their three dogs. He enjoyed his first swim in the infinity pool in 2020 at the Jonas residence. More recent Instagram posts show him lounging in the living room, getting belly rubs from Nick, and running around with Gino and Diana. As the youngest canine kid, Panda "looks up to Gino as his big brother and follows him around everywhere," Nick told PEOPLE, but according to Priyanka he's also "a complete punk."
Although there doesn't appear to be any social posts of the canine trio from this year, the world can only hope and assume all three dogs are still alive and well, being spoiled by their famous parents. Celebrity dogs deserve nothing less.
