How To Remove Brown Stains Around Dog's Mouth
Things Needed
-
Washcloth
-
Water
-
Grooming shears
Any pet owner knows that keeping your animal's fur clean can be a chore. One problem that dogs are prone to, particularly those with light fur, is the brown discoloration that can form around the dog's mouth. Although this is a natural occurrence, it is unsightly. By staying on top of grooming, however, you can remove your dog's stained fur and prevent the problem from coming back.
Step 1
Run the washcloth under warm tap water.
Step 2
Wring it out so that it is damp but not soaked.
Step 3
Gently wipe the areas of your dog's mouth that are brown with the damp rag.
Step 4
Repeat this process once a day until the stains disappear.
Step 5
Take your pet in for a grooming, or groom it yourself. Trimming the hair will remove stained fur and allow clean fur to grow in.
